This baby three-year old cow is a JR Grand Slam granddaughter and goes back to the famous Moonbeam cow, Phenomenon, Monarch 103 and Frank Doherty's last bull, Double Tex. Solid breeding here. Satin & Lace is being bred back to Purple Sage for another great calf, spring 2007.
She had a very smooth 2006, Roundup's Purple Sage heifer, Grand Lace that is closely related to Lazy J Sagebrush (shown on the offspring portion of Roundup's Purple Sage's page.).
Her 2007 calf is a red Purple Sage son, a full brother to Grand Lace.
She is being bred back to Purple Sage for spring of 2008.
