The Purple Sage x Whelma Jet cross is amazing! A full brother to this heifer, Purple Jet, placed 2nd in the Horn Showcase, missing 1st place by 5/8"! Her 2005 full brother, Sage's Reflection, now owned by Dakota Longhorns, Worthing SD, has tremendous horns, size and color and he placed 2nd in his class at the 2006 Horn Showcase.
Whelma Jet has only had one other heifer, an Easy Street KK daughter, and she is owned by Brown Brothers Cattle Company. Mirror Image has already roaned in, has wonderful size and conformation as well as great horn growth. We are so tickled to have a daughter from Whelma Jet by Purple Sage at last. She is the "Mirror Image" of her mother at the same age.
She has a 2007 full brother who is head and shoulders above the rest of the 2007 calf crop. His momma is a milking machine and the genetics have worked every time.
She is currently being exposed to Hunt's Respected, our son of the Horn Showcase Champion, Hunt's Command Respect, for a 2008 calf.
