KC Show Respect is an own son of the late Hunts Demands Respect bull that was well on his way to becoming a fixture in the longhorn industry before his untimely death. There are only a handful offspring by him and there won't be any more.
His mother, KC Night Flash, is a flashy black and white, daughter of J.R. Grand Slam, and has the best conformation of any J.R. Grand Slam daughter we have ever seen. She has a perfect top line and is very feminine and smooth.
For several years, we've been looking for a bull that would contribute good size, flashy black and white color, an excellent disposition along with a marketable, producing and winning, Horn Showcase pedigree to put across our Roundup's Purple Sage daughters as well as across our Hunt's Respected daughters. We think we have found the bull that might do all those things. We have researched his pedigree back 6 generations and believe his pedigree is deep and solid and will produce consistently.
We only bred him to a couple of cows in 2007 and were very pleased with the results. We bred him to the whole herd in 2008 and have been very pleased with the color, conformation and disposition of his 2009 calves.
He was purchased by Henry and Sharon Elam, Kentucky.
